202 Attend 2005 Reunion

Reunion 2005 was a tremendous success as 202 graduates, spouses, and friends of the Sheridan High School classes of 1964, 1965, and 1966 met August 6, 2005, at the Sheridan Country Club. A special guest was Jimmie Lee Williams, our former teacher, who was the driving force behind our classes' successes in staging Teahouse of the August Moon, South Pacific, and The King and I. Mr. Williams is still teaching public speaking at UA-Morrillton.

Everyone was treated to a catered catfish and chicken dinner, dancing to the oldies, and video (yes, video) of Homecoming and the Senior Trip for the class of '65. Congratulations to Charee Wade Fleshren (Class of '64), who successfully recited the first lines of Chaucer's Prologue to The Canterbury Tales, in Middle English, an assignment that was given to each of us by Mrs. Callaway forty years ago.
